Azerbaijan imported 1,374,342 spark plugs (+34%) worth $2 million (+13%) in January-June of this year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
In the reporting period, 931,117 spark plugs (+53%) worth $610,000 (+79%) were impored from China, 64,451 units (-64%) worth $386,000 (-42%) from Japan, 87,330 units (+15.2%) worth $252,000 (+18.3%) from Korea, 73,977 units (+5.5 times) worth $234,000 (+2.5 times) from Germany, and 7,768 units (+4.3 times) worth $195,000 (-9%) from the United States of America.
Azerbaijan resumed supply from the Netherlands (48 units worth $12,300) after one year.
China accounted for 55% of the 1,749,834 spark plugs imported to Azerbaijan (from 30 countries) in 2022 and Japan accounted for 21.4%.
