Azerbaijan ranks 7th among countries that made direct investments in Georgia in Q3 2023

Azerbaijan accounted for 5.2% of direct foreign investment in Georgia's economy in July–September of this year, Report informs, referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

According to the information, $316 million was invested in the neighboring country in the 3rd quarter of 2023, of which $16.4 million was invested by Azerbaijani entrepreneurs. Azerbaijan ranked 7th among the countries that made direct investments in Georgia's economy in the reporting period.

During the quarter, the US ($51.8 million), the UK ($45.8 million), and the Netherlands ($45.3 million) invested the most in Georgia.
