Azerbaijan, Luxembourg explore expanding collaboration

Azerbaijan and Luxembourg have recently discussed the current state of economic relations between the two countries and explored potential ways to further expand cooperation, Report informs, referring to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy.

The discussions occurred during a meeting between Azerbaijan's First Deputy Minister of Economy, Elnur Aliyev, and a delegation led by Véronique Dockendorf, the Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg.

Aliyev highlighted the ample opportunities to expand cooperation between Azerbaijan and Luxembourg. He pointed out potential collaboration in various sectors, including economic trade, transit, tourism, IT, and green energy.

Additionally, the deputy minister emphasized the importance of expanding the legal framework, the participation of Luxembourg companies in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories, and joint investment opportunities.

Aliyev also stressed the significance of participation in business events and exhibitions in both countries.

Dockendorf, in turn, expressed Luxembourg's strong interest in developing relations with Azerbaijan. She shared her thoughts on new areas of cooperation and discussed the potential for implementing joint initiatives.
