The possibility of creating joint ventures between Azerbaijan and Iran will be encouraged, Report informs.
This is envisaged by the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry and the Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO).
The document was signed by Chairman of the KOBIA Board Orkhan Mammadov and Deputy Minister of Roads and Municipal Development of Iran Kheirollah Khademi on March 11 in Baku within the 15th meeting of the State Commission for Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran in the economic, trade and humanitarian spheres.
According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the field of entrepreneurship trainings, seminars and exchange programs, participation in industrial parks will be encouraged to support the competitiveness of SMEs and mutually expand their market access.
In addition, for the purpose of support, work will be carried out to promote the exchange of innovative information technologies, mutual business missions, meetings and visits will be organized. The parties intend to carry out mutual exchange of information on the possibilities of creating joint ventures and to hold events and exhibitions.
