The Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit will be held in Baku on October 27-29, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy told Report.
A special promotional program for startups is planned to be presented within the summit.
One of the main goals of the summit, which will be attended by many prominent government officials and private sector representatives from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, is to give young people the opportunity to present their startup projects to investors. To this end, the summit will host an exhibition of about 50 startups from OIC member countries. Startup projects cover areas such as food, agriculture, the green economy, financial technology, gaming and online applications, the environment, renewable energy, smart technologies, air transport, logistics, and more. Azerbaijani startups wishing to participate in the exhibition can apply until October 5.
Only startups selected by the startup project organizing committee will be contacted.
The Azerbaijan Investment and Culture Summit will be organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum and KOBIA with the support of the Ministries of Economy and Culture. The event will be attended by government officials, business people, international organizations, investors, startups, and youth organizations from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The three-day event will include panel meetings, exhibitions and other events on various topics.
