Azerbaijan increases wheat imports by nearly 40%

In January-February 2025, Azerbaijan imported 187,569 tons of wheat worth $40.5 million, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.

This is 52,699 tons (39%) more in volume and $9.6 million (31.1%) more in value year-on-year.

The spending on wheat imports during the mentioned period amounted to 1% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.
