Azerbaijan increases import of electric vehicles from Germany, US

In January-May 2023, Azerbaijan imported 812 (6.2 times more year-on-year) electric vehicles for $34.383 million (9.2 times more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 651 units (+19 times) of electric vehicles from China for $23.655 million (+17 times), 85 units (+8.5 times) from Germany for $8.2 million (+11 times), 42 units (+2.3 times) from the US for $1.421 million (+2.4 times).
