Azerbaijan increases expenditures on imports of pharmaceutical products

From January through April 2021, Azerbaijan imported 8,500 tons of pharmaceutical products for $159.6 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, the volume and the monetary value of the imports increased by $35.9 million (29%) and 0.8 metric tons (10.4%), respectively.

Purchases of pharmaceutical products during the reporting period amounted to 4.5% of Azerbaijan’s total imports.
