Azerbaijan posts 24% growth in cargo transportation by railway

In January-July 2023, 4,423,051 tons of cargo (+23.9%) worth $2,117,712,000 (+6.7%) were transported by railway in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

In particular, during 7 months, 1,836,254 tons of cargo (+25.3%) worth $706,561,000 (+18.5%) were exported, 2,586,797 tons of cargo (+23%) worth $1,411,150,000 (+1.7%) were imported.
