Azerbaijan cuts spending on imports from Türkiye by over 3%

Azerbaijan imported goods worth just over $311.7 million from Türkiye during the first two months of 2025, marking a 3.3% decrease year-on-year (YoY), Report informs, referring to Türkiye's Ministry of Trade.

Exports to Azerbaijan accounted for 0.9% of Türkiye's total exports. During the reporting period, the value of Türkiye's total exports rose by 2.5% YoY, exceeding $36.51 billion.

The largest importers of Turkish goods were Germany ($3.07 billion; 0.3% decrease), the UK ($2.07 billion; 6.6% increase), the US ($2.01 billion; 4.6% decrease), and Italy (almost $2 billion; slight decrease).

In February alone, Türkiye exported goods worth just over $152.2 million to Azerbaijan, which is 13.6% less compared to the same month last year. Türkiye's monthly exports to Azerbaijan accounted for 0.8% of its total exports.
