In January-May of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 1,739 tractors worth $47.8 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 3.3% and 5.6%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan purchased tractors from:
- Germany: 425 units (-15%) worth $11.45 million (+2%);
- China: 410 units (+74%) worth $10.2 million (+62%);
- Netherlands: 305 units (+4%) worth $7.7 million (+14%);
- Belarus: 301 units (-25%) worth $7.1 million 24%);
- Türkiye: 93 units (+3 times) worth $3.9 million (+4 times).
In 2025, Azerbaijan imported tractors from the United Arab Emirates (2 units worth $203,100) for the first time in 14 years, based on publicly available foreign trade statistics dating back to 2011.
Meanwhile, in 2024, 32% of the 4,011 tractors imported to Azerbaijan came from Germany, while 25% came from China.
