Azerbaijan applies digital innovations for registering foreign-invested legal entities

Legal grounds have been established for the electronic state registration of foreign-invested legal entities in Azerbaijan, regardless of whether their founders are foreign individuals or legal entities, Samira Musayeva, the head of the Business Entry Working Group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings and Deputy Chief of the State Tax Service, said at the meeting of the Working Group, Report informs.

According to Musayeva, the registration process for foreign legal entities has been completely aligned with the registration procedure for local legal entities, and existing differences in this area have been eliminated.

"A number of significant reforms have been implemented to develop the business environment. These reforms have created conditions for taking important steps both for starting entrepreneurial activities and for effective management of business in later stages. Based on the World Bank's Business Ready report, several changes have been made to the state registration of commercial legal entities, civil and labor legislation," Musayeva emphasized.
