Azerbaijan and China plan to establish joint Industrial Park

In the near future, it is planned to establish a joint industrial park with China in Azerbaijan, Teymur Nadiroglu, trade representative of Azerbaijan in China, told Report.

He believes that by creating such an industrial park, Azerbaijan can attract more investment from China to its economy.

The representative emphasized that Azerbaijan's Trade Representative Office in China regularly holds meetings with potential Chinese investors, providing them with detailed information about the business environment, as well as the privileges, tax concessions and exemptions offered to investors in industrial parks, the Alat Free Economic Zone, and liberated territories:

"During the year, we hold forums about Azerbaijan's business environment and investment potential and make presentations at international events. Of course, we will continue our activities and efforts in this direction."

Nadiroglu emphasized that efforts are being made to attract Chinese investors to the restoration and reconstruction of Azerbaijan's liberated territories.

According to him, since 1995, Chinese investors have made direct investments in Azerbaijan totaling $920 million. More than 200 Chinese companies operate in Azerbaijan in industry, energy, infrastructure, information technology, trade, agriculture, and other fields and this number is increasing every year.
