Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) discussed the cooperation issues, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry.
Deputy Minister Samad Bashirli met with Ms. Xiahong Yang, Deputy Director General of the ADB's Central and West Asia Department. The meeting highlighted the development of relations with the ADB, and highly appreciated the the bank's participation in public-private partnerships, environment, digital development, energy, increasing the country's transit-logistics potential, and implementation of various infrastructure projects.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of partnership and issues of mutual interest. Financing opportunities for combating climate change, as well as cooperation issues within the COP29 framework were discussed.
