Ambassador: 'Iran is ready for re-launching the Baku-Anzali shipping line'

Baku. 4 March.REPORT.AZ/ 'Iran is ready for re-launching the Baku-Anzali shipping line'. Report was told by the Ambassador of Iran Islam Republic to Azerbaijan Mohsen Pakayeen commenting the results of visit to Baku the head of the Anzali Trade-Industrial Free Zone (ATIFZ) Reza Masrour last week.

According to him, the visit was fruitful and during the visit were discussed issues on development bilateral relations, as well launching of shipping line. 'Iran is ready for re-launching the Baku-Anzali shipping line', he added.

Mohsen Pakayeen also stated that, Azerbaijani investors can investment into the zone, because Iran offered tax breaks for businessmen.

'Iran exported 258,000 tons of goods, worth $142 million, from Anzali Free Trade Zone in 2013, some 95 percent more than in the previous year', he stressed.

According to him, most trade exchanges from Anzali Free Trade Zone were made by Caucasian, East European, Latin American and North American countries.

'I would like to invite Azerbaijani businessmen to invest into the zone', the Ambassador said.
