EY is pleased to confirm the start of the ‘EY Entrepreneur Of The Year®’ program. It’s the fifth time this prestigious competition is being held in Azerbaijan. ‘EY Entrepreneur Of The Year’ is one of the preeminent competitive business award program for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies.
The program has been held for five consecutive years thanks to a generous financial support by ABB (International Bank of Azerbaijan) and bp.
Abbas Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Management Board at ABB said: “This is year, it’ll be already the fifth ‘EY Entrepreneur of The Year’ contest to be held. We have been consistently supporting and sponsoring this prestigious contest from day one. It pleases us to see that the program has been gathering traction and expanding year on year. This year’s group of ambitious entrepreneurial leaders will be selected by an independent judging panel made up of leading top-managers, representatives of international financial organizations and regional business leaders.

This year, the partners of the 'EY Entrepreneur of the Year ' program include Ekvita (consulting) company, Azpromo (Azerbaijan's Export and Investment Promotion Agency), Ictimai TV (Azerbaijan's Public television), 'Impact' magazine published by AmCham Azerbaijan, 'Finansist' magazine and APFM.
The candidates will be evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.
Azerbaijan award winners will be unveiled during a special ceremony to be held in February 2024 to honor and celebrate these business leaders who are building a more equitable, sustainable and prosperous world for all.
