'We have to show the world how beautiful Azerbaijan is' - Moroccan photographer

Azerbaijan is a very rich country by his history, his culture, architecture and nature, renowned Moroccan photographer Mohamed Tazi, whose works will be featured at the African Soul exhibition in Baku organized by the Moroccan Embassy in celebration of African Day, told Report.

"I was always fascinated by how this country developed but at the same time keeping the authenticity of his culture and traditions," Tazi said.

"My love for photography started really when I was child I was observing my father taking photo of our family and of watches that he designed with love and after that U developed my passion when I started travelling around the world especially when I fell in love with wild nature during safari that I made in South Africa and Tanzania," the photographer said.

His works were published in many famous magazines and newspapers such as National Geographic, Forbes, Daily Mail, The Sun, Wild Planet, Insider, Arab News. In 2019, he won the Photo of the Year award organized by the PSA Photographic Society of America.

Mohamed Tazi believes that to create quality content you need to be creative, and every photo taken with a creative approach quickly becomes trendy, so each photographer should have his own special approach.

The photographer said that he was very happy to visit Azerbaijan for the first time.

"I was always been fascinated by how this country developed but at the same time keeping the authenticity of his culture and traditions.
I think we have to show the world how beautiful and attractive this country is, a country that deserves to be visited many times," he said.
