Today, the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Azerbaijan held the closing ceremony of the "EU4Azerbaijan" exhibition, which was organized at the Seaside National Park, Report informs.
The Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, the Ambassadors of the EU Member States like Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Bulgaria, members of “Young European Ambassadors” network, representatives of the international organizations and local partners implementing the EU funded projects as well as media representatives participated at the event.
Emphasizing the long history of the EU-Azerbaijan partnership, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Michalko stated: “This exhibition helped demonstrate how diverse the European Union - Azerbaijan cooperation is. All those activities are the result of our successful partnership with the Government institutions and the civil society in Azerbaijan. The European Union together with its Member States are proud and happy to be able to contribute to each and every success of our project beneficiaries and prosperity of the country, in general”.
It should be noted that the aim of the exhibition, which was open to the public since 23 September 2021, was to raise awareness of the EU assistance and activities in Azerbaijan.
More than 100 photos displayed at the exhibition reflect the EU-funded projects implemented in Azerbaijan in the fields of rural and regional development, family business, inclusive education, women's entrepreneurship and various cultural events as well as success stories of project beneficiaries.
The last day of the “EU4Azerbaijan” exhibition will be 25 October 2021.
