Azerbaijani People's Artist Ofelya Sanani suffered a heart attack.
She has reportedly been placed in the Clinical Medical Center with a diagnosis of anterior and posterior wall infarction.
Sanani is currently being treated at the hospital's Intensive Care Unit.
According to the Ministry of Health, the People's Artist is in a very critical condition.
Sanani was born in 1941 in Baku. She worked on a radio from 1959 to 1975 and starred in several radio productions. She has been working on television since 1975. She also worked in the dubbing department of the Azerbaijanfilm film studio in the 1960s and 1990s and played the principal characters in over 100 films. She also starred in films (such as "Battle in the Mountains", feature films "Stars Don't Fail," "Baku Boulevard", etc.).
