Baku. 30 October. REPORT.AZ/ Nikulin Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard has arrived in Azerbaijan.
Report's correspodent watched the program for kids performed by the Moscow circus at the Baku State Circus and prepared a reportage.
The full-staff circus coming to Baku after three-year talks
We arrived at the Baku State Circus long before the performance began. Circus representative Mahir Humbatov guided us and provided extensive information about the program. He said the new season of the Baku State Circus started on October 27: "For the first time the season is opened by one of the most famous circuses of the world - Nikulin Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard with its full staff. The program continued for more than two hours. Amazing air shows, scenes with tamed animals. The staff of the Moscow circus will be in Baku until November 18. The performances will be staged on weekends and holidays. The ticket prices vary from AZN 10 to AZN 20. We have been in talks to bring this circus to Baku for nearly three years and it is the first time that we managed to bring them here in full staff."
Early-comers and children's endless 'I want'
Luminous toys, cotton candy, popcorn and other things that attract children's attention are sold within the circus building. Though an hour was left to the program, the parents stood in a queue to buy what their children wanted. If the parents do not want to find themselves in such a situation, they should not come to the circus early. Because when the children saw other kids playing with luminous or rolling toys, they started to demand the same thing from their parents.
And the parents had to fulfill their demand to calm the child down. A one-manat red clown nose is also sold in the hall. Naturally, a child asks to buy him the nose. Thus, their wishes never end.
Backstage
Together with Mahir Humbatov we direct to the backstage. As soon as we get there, we smell odour. Here we can see acrobats warming up and animals. The works in the dressing room are in process. While we could get to the dressing room intended for men, our entry to the women's side was prohibited. The bell rings, and the performance begins.
Breathtaking moments
A female acrobat enters the stage making dangerous moves. Throwing herself down from a height while moving on the rope gives the spectators the breathtaking moments. Two acrobats drawing figures on ropes also managed to grasp the attention of the spectators.
The most frequently seen character of the program
A clown was the most frequently seen character of the program. Enlivening the crowd each time he enters the stage, the clown performed amazing shows attracting the spectators. The contests he arranges among parents amuse their kids.
The program also included performances with dogs of various breeds, goats, horses, pony and other animals.
