Actress starring in Azerbaijani film awarded in Kyiv

Another award ceremony was held in Kyiv for the People's Artist of Ukraine Raisa Nedashkivska, who played the role of Mehriban in the popular Azerbaijani film "A Telephonist Girl."

The star was granted the Kyiv Pectoral Award for her contribution to the development of theatrical art. The ceremony was preceded by performances by actors from several theaters in Kyiv.

After the prize ceremony, Nedashkivska thanked everyone for their trust. The actress said she was happy to choose cinema and theater. She spoke about her movies and memories of the Azerbaijani film "A Telephonist Girl." She said that along with Ukrainians, Azerbaijanis also take part in the awarding ceremony.

At the end of the event, the head of the Cultural Center, named after Muslim Magomayev in Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine Gurban Abbasov and singer Natalya Kudyasheva performed a composition of Azerbaijani and Ukrainian music.
