Exhibition of Moroccan photographer about Africa opens in Baku

The opening of the exhibition "African Soul" by the famous Moroccan photographer Mohammd Tazi took place in Baku.

Report informs that the event was organized with the support of the Moroccan Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The Ambassador of Morocco to Azerbaijan Mohamed Adil Ambarch stated at the opening that the exhibition symbolizes the developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Morocco.

"As you know, Africa Day is celebrated all over the world today. We would like to contribute to its popularization. Photographer Mohamed Tazi has collected here his most beautiful and unique works about this part of the world," the ambassador said.

Photographer Tazi, in turn, said he was glad to present his works in Baku

."It is an honor for me to be here, in Azerbaijan, which impresses me with its beauties," he added.

The exhibition will run until June 5.

Africa Day is celebrated annually on May 25 by the countries of the African Union by decision of the UN.
