Disneyland Paris is set to reopen its gates to guests today (15 July) after four months of closure following the coronavirus pandemic, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
The phased reopening includes theme parks (Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park), Disney’s Newport Bay Club hotel, and Disney Village.
In line with guidance from the French government and local health authorities, the Parisian resort has implemented a range of measures to keep guests and cast members - the title Disney gives to staff - safe.
It includes limited attendance, physical distancing, and enhanced cleaning measures, plus the mandatory wearing of face coverings for all employees and guests aged 11 and above.
Visitors must comply with social distancing rules when queueing for rides, while more than 2,000 sanitizing and hand washing stations have been installed throughout the resort.
Children’s playgrounds, traditional character meet and greets, and makeover experiences will remain temporarily unavailable.
The traditional Disney Illumination parade also remains canceled.
