Azerbaijani theater wins award of Caspian littoral festival in Aktau

Baku. 29 August. REPORT.AZ/ The first theatrical festival of the Caspian states ended in Aktau. 

Report informs citing the Kazakh media, festival participants received awards in six categories. Thus, the troupe of the Azerbaijan State "Yugh" theater won "Khazar Renaissance" nomination.

The "Aina" theater group from Iran received the prize in the nomination "Caspian meeruerti" ("Pearl of the Caspian").

Notably, the I International Theater Festival of the Caspian countries was held at the initiative of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) and dedicated to the 80th anniversary of People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR and Kazakhstan Asanali Ashimov.
