Azerbaijan-based insurers collect biggest amount of premiums in April in 2018

Baku. 7 February. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan-based insurers collected AZN 108.303 million premiums in April 2018, 14.9% of total premiums throughout the year. In January 2018, the premiums amounted to AZN 82.760 million, 11.4% of total premiums. In December, the insurers’ premiums stood at AZN 64.063 million, 8.8% in total premiums.

The premiums made up AZN 63.480 million (8.7%) in July, AZN 62.961 million (8.7%) in March, AZN 57.072 million (7.8%) in August, AZN 51.615 million (7.1%) in September, AZN 49.402 million(6.8%) in May, AZN 48.632 million (6.7%) in October, AZN 47.396 million (6.5%) in February, AZN 46.721 million (6.4%) in November, AZN 45.550 million (6.3%) in June.

So, the least insurance premiums were collected in June (AZN 45.550 million), the highest in April (AZN 108.303 million).

As for payments, the most of payments were done in July (AZN 26.601 million or 11.1% of total payments).

The payments amounted to AZN 22.988 million (9.6%) in January, AZN 22.677 million (9.4%) in August. Totally, 30.1% of payments were done in January, July and August.

Insurers paid AZN 21.853 million (9%) in June, AZN19.807 million in March, AZN 19.049 million (7.8%) in October, AZN 18.952 million (7.9%) in May, AZN 18.330 million (7.6%) in September, AZN 18.203 million (7.6%) in April, AZN 18.179 million (7.6%) in November, AZN17.5 million (7.3%) in February and AZN 16.194 million (6.7%) in December.

So most of the payments were done in July (AZN 26.601 million) and the least in December (AZN 16.194 million)

The insurers directed 48% of premiums to payments in June, 42% in July, 39.7% in August, 39.2% in October, 39.9% in November, 38.4% in May, 36.9% in February, 35.5% in September, 31.5% in March, 27.8% in January and 25.3% in December.

Totally, 21 insurers collected AZN 727.954 million and paid AZN 244.334 million in the reporting period.
