He expressed hope that the volume of Turkish investments in Azerbaijan will increase further.

According to Kalender, Azerbaijan has recently been using its potential in the agricultural field very well:

"As a result of the reforms implemented in the agrarian field, the importance of agriculture has increased. Over the past 5-6 years, we have been observing the growth of the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan. The volume of production of agricultural products rises by around 4% every year, which is a perfect indicator.

"The 4% annual growth results from the government's support to the agricultural sector. In addition, Azerbaijan has broad potential in the field of export of fruit and vegetable products. Azerbaijan is a country that can influence the $300 million market of the CIS. It is possible to export products to a number of CIS countries, including Russia, without customs duty."
