In January-November 2024, Russia supplied agricultural products worth approximately $720 million to Azerbaijan, which is 7% more compared to the same period in 2023, Report informs, citing the Russian Agroexport Center.
According to the center, the top five supplied products were wheat (31%), sunflower oil (7%), chocolate (7%), flour confectionery products and sugar (4%), and margarine (3%).
"Azerbaijan is an important and promising market for Russian exporters due to growing demand and close trade relations," Agroexport emphasized.
In 2023, the trade turnover of agricultural products between Azerbaijan and Russia reached a record amount of $1.5 billion.
