Kazakhstan increases grain and flour exports to nearly 14 million tonnes

Kazakhstan exported 13.9 million tonnes of grain and flour in grain equivalent from September 2025 to July 2026, marking a 12.6% increase compared with the previous season.

According to the Kazakhstan bureau of Report, citing the country's Ministry of Agriculture, export volumes stood at 12.4 million tonnes a year earlier.

The main growth was driven by increased supplies to Central Asian countries and Afghanistan.

In particular, exports to Uzbekistan rose by 36% to 5.8 million tonnes, while shipments to Kyrgyzstan increased by 35% to 528,000 tonnes. Exports to Afghanistan grew by 57% to 2.4 million tonnes, and deliveries to Turkmenistan increased by 32% to 220,000 tonnes.

The Ministry of Agriculture noted that the growth in transportation volumes reflects strong demand for Kazakh agricultural products and the development of export logistics.
