Karabakh horses put up for auction for first time

Today, Karabakh thoroughbred horses were put up for auction for the first time at the Gobustan Demonstration Cattle Breeding Complex of Agroservice OJSC of the Ministry of Agriculture.

According to Report, the auction participants will be offered 3 Karabakh horses - Sahil (5,000 manats), Zilakhar (7,000 manats), and Sultan (30,000 manats).

The sale of horses will be formalized at the final price, and they will be insured.

The purpose of the Gobustan Livestock Demonstration Complex is to achieve farmers' access to breeding animals by organizing the sale of pedigree animals as well as local breeds, to stimulate the development of animals bred by local breeding farms, to improve the sex composition of animals in the country, and to establish coordination between breeding farms. There are leasing companies selling animals and insurance companies for insuring animals within the complex. All purchase, sale, insurance, leasing, and discount application processes are carried out in a single-center, ensuring the efficiency and transparency of services.
