Irrigation facility built in Gazakh with financial support of Japanese Embassy

An irrigation system that will work with solar energy has been built in Balachayli village of the Gazakh region, Report informs.

The facility was created with the financial support of the Embassy of Japan in Azerbaijan, the West-Resource Civil Society Development Support Public Union.

These irrigation facilities, intended to irrigate 54 ha of cultivated land and 22 ha of forest strips, were put into operation on July 27.

About 500 villagers and farmers with land shares in the area will benefit from the project.
