Honey fair to be held in Baku in October

The 22nd Republican exhibition-fair of beekeeping products will be held in Baku from October 1 to 20 under the joint organization of the Ministry of Agriculture and the public association "Azerbaijan Beekeepers Association", Report informs referring to the ministry.

The fair will be held in the Narimanov district of Baku at the following address: Fatali Khan Khoisky Street, 5 (near the Ganjlik metro station). The quality of honey, which will be sold at the fair, will be monitored by the Food Safety Agency.

Only beekeepers with a COVID-passport will be able to take part in the fair. The process of registration of bee farmers from August 29, 00:00 to August 31, 23:59 (GMT+4) will take place online at bal.kendden.az .

At the fair, the beekeeper can put up for sale a maximum of 400 kg of honey and a maximum of 30 honeycombs.

Reception of honey samples will be held from September 8 to September 15 at the warehouse of Agrarian Supply and Procurement JSC at the following address: Khojasan road, 57 (fruit market). The cost of participation in the fair is 150 manats ($88.24) This amount includes the provision of space and necessary supplies for the sale, fair marketing work, logistics, warehousing and other services.

Beekeeping products that do not meet the standards will not be allowed to be sold.
