One of the EU's goals of is the implementation of projects that will cover as many farmers in Azerbaijan as possible, Victor Bojkov, the representative of the EU office in Azerbaijan, told Report.
He said that the EU may soon launch a new project in Azerbaijan together with the FAO: “We see how successful our cooperation with the FAO and the government of Azerbaijan turned out to be.”
He added that the Ministry of Agriculture also highly appreciates cooperation with the EU in projects in the agricultural sector.
Victor Bojkov also reminded that the EU supported the development of pomegranate production in Azerbaijan by opening a mini-factory for the production of pomegranate juice in Kurdamir last December.
In turn, the representative of the EU office noted that the new project will cover another branch of agriculture.
