Egg production in Azerbaijan grows nearly 2%

Azerbaijan produced 306.3 million eggs in January-February this year, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

This is 1.6% more than in the same period last year.

In January-February 2022, agricultural products worth 774.7 million manats were produced in Azerbaijan. This is 3.1% more than a year earlier.

Over the past year, the cost of crop production in Azerbaijan has increased by 4.1% compared to last year and amounted to 41.2 million manats, while the cost of livestock products has increased by 2.5% and amounted to 733.5 million manats.
