Belarus temporarily bans grain exports

The government of Belarus has applied a temporary ban on grain exports for six months, Report informs referring to Latifundist.

This decision was made in accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers, which was published online.

In accordance with the document, a temporary ban was established on the export of wheat, rye, barley, oats, corn, buckwheat, millet, triticale, other cereals, as well as rapeseeds.

At the same time, the decree doesn’t apply to goods exported outside Belarus to states for the provision of international humanitarian assistance to foreign states on the basis of decisions of the government of Belarus.

Earlier it was reported that the government of Belarus introduced a ban on the export of buckwheat and wheat flour.
