Uzbekistan is considering opportunities to apply the experience of Azerbaijan in subsidizing the agricultural sector and digitalization of agriculture, the Agriculture Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov wrote on social media following his participation in the 43rd meeting of the World Food Organization (FAO), held in Rome, Report informs.
“As part of the visit to Rome, bilateral meetings began, including with the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov. Azerbaijan has unique achievements in the field of agricultural subsidies and digitalization of agriculture. We can study this experience and apply it in Uzbekistan,” the minister wrote.
Voitov also noted that cooperation between the two countries in the field of cotton growing, sericulture and veterinary medicine were discussed with the Azerbaijani delegation.
