Azerbaijan's Zangilan hosts talks on agriculture development

Discussions are underway in Zangilan, Azerbaijan, on the development of agriculture, fisheries, and aquaculture.

According to Report's correspondent in Zangilan, a regional conference is being held in the city on the State Program for the Development of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Production and Processing in Azerbaijan for 2026–2030.

The event has been organized for the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions. It is expected that participants will discuss development prospects in agriculture, fisheries, and aquaculture, expansion of production and processing capacities, and efficient use of regional potential.

Held on the instruction of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the conference brings together presidential aides, heads of relevant state agencies, authorized representatives, local executive powers, farmers, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders.

These meetings are systematically organized to implement the tasks set at the May 25, 2026, conference, chaired by President Ilham Aliyev, on agricultural issues, ensuring coordinated, flexible, and effective execution of measures outlined in the State Program across the regions.
