Azerbaijan's profit from sugar export grows by 30%

In January-March of this year, Azerbaijan imported sugar and confectionery made from sugar worth $491.492 million (+23.7%), Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

During the reporting period, the value of Azerbaijan's sugar and sugar confectionery exports was $10.19 million, which is 29.7% less than a year ago.

During three months, the cost of sugar import was 1.23% of the total import, and the income from sugar export was 0.13% of the total export.
