Azerbaijan resumes dried plums imports from two countries 

Azerbaijan imported 257 tons of dried plums worth $600,710 in January-September 2022, respectively, down 1.5% and up 14% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

Below is the list of countries that exported dried plums to Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

- Moldova – 80.96 tons (-1.2%) worth $280,760 (+33.8%);
- Iran – 117.5 tons (-8.7%) worth $175,100 (-10%);
- Uzbekistan – 52.81 tons (+49.3%) worth $119,760 (+56%);
- Turkiye – 2.63 tons (-54.6%) worth $8,400 (-34%);
- Argentine – 0.98 tons (-58.5%) worth $5,760 (-39.5%).

After a year and eight months, Azerbaijan resumed importing dried plums from Chile (1.04 tons worth $3,990) and Serbia (60 kg worth $480).

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 18.5 tons of dried plums (+68.3 times) worth $33,200 (+81 times) (only to Russia).
