Azerbaijan increases tea imports, exports

In January-February this year, Azerbaijan imported 1,921 tons of tea worth $10.297 million, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

This is 176 tons (+10%) more in quantitative terms than in the same period last year, and $1.919 million (+22.9%) more in value terms.

During the reporting period, tea imports made up 0.39% of the total imports of Azerbaijan.

In January-February this year, Azerbaijan exported 125 tons of tea worth $1.094 million. This is 15 tons (+13.6%) more than in the same period last year, and in value terms, the growth amounted to $202,000 (+22.6%).
