A new Fisheries and Aquaculture Center has been established as a public legal entity under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Agriculture.
According to Report, this follows an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, which includes additional measures for the development of fisheries and aquaculture, along with amendments to related decrees and orders.
The center will operate under the Ministry of Agriculture and focus on the organization, management, and enhancement of fisheries and aquaculture. This includes the use, protection, and control of fish and other aquatic bioresources.
The center's authorized fund is set at 1 million manats ($588.2 million), sourced from the state budget.
