Azerbaijan, Brazil ink MoU in agriculture

Azerbaijan and Brazil have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of agriculture, designed to promote investment and mutual trade, Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan Majnun Mammadov wrote on X, Report informs.

The agreement was signed by Minister Majnun Mammadov and Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil Carlos Favaro on the sidelines of the meeting of the G20 Ministers of Agriculture.

"The memorandum will contribute to the further expansion of friendly relations between our countries. The agreement provides for the exchange of scientific and technological innovations, experts, specialists, the creation of joint ventures, increasing investments and other forms of cooperation. We believe that the signed memorandum will make an important contribution to the development of intercountry trade and investment in agribusiness," the minister wrote.
