Azerbaijan becomes main country for Georgian potato exports

In 2023, Georgia exported potatoes worth $861,000 to Azerbaijan, 51% less than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the National Statistical Office of Georgia.

Thus, Azerbaijan ranked first among the five countries to which Georgia exported potatoes.

During the reporting period, Georgia sold potatoes to foreign countries for $1.4 million, which is 72% less than a year ago. In particular, supplies were made from Georgia to Russia worth $493,000, Armenia worth $44,600, Belarus worth $31,000, and Ukraine worth $11,500.
