Since the beginning of this year, 144,400 tons of grains have been exported from the Republic of Bashkortostan to Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia, Report informs, citing the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor).
The service issued 3,231 export phytosanitary certificates.
According to information, the largest volume of grain sold to foreign contractors is wheat (38.16 thousand tons), followed by flax (17.74 thousand tons), camelina (4.23 thousand tons), barley (3.23 thousand tons), saffron (1.05 thousand tons), sunflower (0.81 thousand tons).
During the corresponding period of 2021, 136.77 thousand tons of grains were exported from the Chuvash Republic and Ulyanovsk region to Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
