Agriculture minister: Romania ready to share new technologies with Azerbaijan

Romania is ready to share new technologies with Azerbaijan for their application in the liberated territories, Romanian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Adrian-Ionut Chesnoiu told Report.

“We are a really good grain producer, the grain processing sector is also very well developed in Romania. We can work together with Azerbaijan, share our experience and new technologies that can be used in the liberated territories,” the minister said.

He added that Romania and Azerbaijan should gradually identify opportunities for cooperation, as the world is currently facing food difficulties.

“Romania is a good partner for Azerbaijan. Our country has the port of Constanta, which is the main gateway to the European market,” Chesnoiu said.

The minister stated that Azerbaijan is known for its quality agricultural products. “Azerbaijan’s vegetable products are well known in Asia and neighboring countries, which is an opportunity for your country to expand its exports to the European market,” Chesnoiu added.
