Seven dry cargo ships with food left Ukrainian ports on October 25, having received permission from the Istanbul Joint Coordination Center (JCC), Report informs referring to Interfax.
They are transporting a total of 224,850 tons of grain and other agricultural products.
Two dry cargo ships - Captain J. Neofotistos (68,000 tons of wheat) and Zumrut Ana (6,500 tons of sunflower oil) - headed for Spain. The Captain V. Madias (63,650 tons of corn) headed for China, the Kaptan Arif Bayraktar (50,000 tons of corn) for the Netherlands.
In addition, the Regius ship will deliver 30,000 tons of rapeseed to EU ports. Dry cargo ship Pearl T will transport 4,000 tons of sunflower oil to Romania, dry cargo ship Sahin 1 – 2,900 tons of wheat to Greece.
On July 22, with the participation of the UN, Russia, Turkiye and Ukraine, a document was signed in Istanbul on the creation of a corridor for the export of grain from three Ukrainian ports - Chornomorsk, Odesa and Yuzhnyi.
