130 hectares of orchards are planned to be planted in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan next year, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sarvan Jafarov said at the presentation of the book "Green Economy" prepared by the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources (MENR).
"In 2021-2022, crops were 50,000 hectares of those areas were planted. Additionally, 1,800 hectares of orchards were cultivated. We are continuing measures to use the region's agricultural potential effectively," he said.
