Minister: World may get $52B from agriculture in 2020

Baku. 10 December. REPORT.AZ/ Provision of food resources is one of the main issues facing the world today, Azerbaijan's Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov said at the opening of AgTech and Green Energy forum in Baku.
"Though Azerbaijan is about to face land, water and climate limitations, in the nine months of 2018 the share of agriculture in GDP rose by 4.3-fold. Innovations are important for development of the agricultural sector. As a result of these innovations, the base price of food products fell by 50%. World may get $52 billion from agriculture in 2020 by using mobile applications."
