December 2024 became a record month in the field of transportation of new crop grain. The volume of grain transportation this month increased by 63% compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to 1.4 million tons. Domestic transportation increased by 23%, and exports grew by 78%, reaching 1.1 million tons.

“Grain supplies to Central Asian countries increased significantly: to Uzbekistan - by 47%, to Tajikistan - by 58%, to Kyrgyzstan - by 14%, and to Turkmenistan - by 5%. Grain supplies to Azerbaijan have been resumed, amounting to 101,000 tons,” the company said.

There was also an increase in exports to China, which increased imports of Kazakhstan’s grain by 6%. Supplies to Afghanistan increased by 35%. An important trend in December was the growth of transportation through the Black Sea ports - threefold, as well as to the Baltic countries, where transportation volumes increased fourfold.

According to the results of the marketing year (September - December), over 5 million tons of new crop grain were transported, which is 50% more than in the same period in 2023. Domestic transportation of new crop grain amounted to more than 1 million tons, which is 27% more than last year.

Grain exports over four months amounted to 57% of the total transportation volume - about 4 million tons. Significantly more grain was sent to the countries of Central Asia than in the previous year - an increase of 38%. Shipments to Kyrgyzstan increased by 19%. Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 45%, and to Tajikistan - by 57%.

Shipments to China increased by 2% over the year, and to Afghanistan - by 51%. One of the significant achievements was a significant increase in grain transportation through the port of Aktau to Iran - by 30 times.

Black Sea ports also showed good growth, increasing the volume of transportation by 39%, and deliveries to the Baltic countries increased by 2 times.
