Georgian minister: COP29 among most significant events for the region

The Baku Climate Conference COP29 has become one of the most significant events for the region, Georgia's Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songhulashvili, said at the conference "Agriculture Mobilizing Countries for Nature," held as part of the Caspian Agro and InterFood Azerbaijan exhibitions in Baku.

According to him, the decisions made at COP29 create conditions for the formation of new investment opportunities and trade links.

"This opens up additional opportunities and new prospects for countries. Two main directions – the mobilization of financial resources and the creation of new investment opportunities – have become one of COP29's greatest achievements. This initiative by Azerbaijan has produced significant results not only for Azerbaijan, but for the region as a whole, and even for the world," the minister said.
