Azerbaijan starts buying fertilizers from one more country

In January-November 2022, Azerbaijan imported 96,507 tons (-21.4%) of fertilizers (except organic fertilizer) worth $80.31 million (+95.3%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

80,000 tons (-18.5%) of products worth $57.672 million (+2 times) were brought from Russia, 2,316 tons (-13.3%) worth $7.66 million (+2.4 times) from Turkiye, 4,425 tons worth $4.257 million from Kazakhstan (supply resumed after 1 year and 7 months), 1,764 tons (-1.3%) worth $1.377 million (+70%) from Slovakia, and 564.94 tons (+2.4%) worth $1.257 million (+93.4%) from Spain.

Last year, for the first time in the last 11 years (note: publicly available official statistics on foreign trade are up to 2011), supplies were made from Singapore. A total of 1.68 tons of fertilizer worth $9.45 thousand was bought from that country.
